About the Event
‘Off Grid Summer Experience’
Spread your wings and fly into summer!
Following Government guidance on out of school holiday provision, we are excited to be working with some of our favourite woodland and countryside venues to bring your children memorable summer 2020 outdoor experiences.
Join us for a morning or afternoon experience at Whitehall Estate, Hull. Soar into summer with us and go home with your hands full of exciting things and your minds full of memorable moments.
The Children Who Can team have been busy planning for you to:
- design and make a windmill;
- construct your own woodland within one of our frames to hang in your home;
- troop around the estate and make your own fun;
- take part in a woodland wonders competition.
(am and pm experiences include a healthy snack bar but we ask that all children bring their own drink.)
We look forward to seeing you there.
Having the highest standards and keeping your children safe is vital to us at Children Who Can. All staff running the holiday workshop are qualified teachers. The Session Leader is trained in Food Safety, First Aid and Safeguarding Children. All staff are DBS checked and our policies are available upon request.
All of our risk assessments have been refreshed in line with the current HSE guidance. Experiences are planned and delivered in an outdoor setting for a maximum number of 15 children per session. We will be holding two sessions, one in the morning (09.00 – 12.00) and one in the afternoon (13.00 – 16.00). This will allow sufficient changeover time between both sessions to allow for cleaning of toilets and resources.
Further guidance regarding the sessions will be sent out prior to the experience.
