Reading Experience for Schools/Settings

Reading Experience for Schools and Settings

About the Event

In School Reading Experience

In an exciting collaboration between Children Who Can and Yorkshire Born Yorkshire Read, we are delighted to be offering unique, thought provoking, explorative reading experiences for Early Years settings and primary schools.

As families and teachers help children to return from lockdown and re-engage at school, the use of books to promote positive mental and physical health, can be really supportive.

Working with Yorkshire Born Yorkshire Read, our reading experiences, linked to carefully selected book titles,  help children overcome any anxieties, rebuild their sense of community, reconnect, have fun and achieve focus together.

Led by Sophie, an Independent Usborne Organiser, children will be supported in understanding their feelings and emotions. Our hands on reading experiences allow children to explore a title in detail and produce an outcome linked to their reading.
