Younger children will love our Tots in the Woods sensory woodland workshop, designed for children aged two to five and their grown-ups! During Tots in the Woods sessions, we will explore the wonderful woodland around us, learn fascinating nature facts, prepare delicious, fresh and healthy food and enjoy time spent with our friends crafting, problem-solving or creating wonderful things.
Tots in the Woods sessions are held in a variety of stand-out venues across Yorkshire. Previous venues include Carlton Towers Estate, a wonderful area of outstanding woodland and countryside grounds. The estate also offers delicious treats available at the Carlton Towers tea rooms — an ideal toddler activity day for kids and parents alike. Our toddler outdoor activity group also regularly visits Northwood Trail — England’s Fairy Sanctuary and our most magical, breathtaking venue yet!
Bespoke Workshops for Home-Educated Children
A unique, fun and educational way to spend the holidays, our Home Education Sessions are bespoke workshops tailored to families with home-educated children aged four to twelve. Delivered in a set of four workshops, these outdoor learning experiences are carefully planned to enrich participants based on the CWC Way – our innovative child-led curriculum – and take place in one hundred acres of magical woodland and countryside.
As well as our school holiday kids’ workshops and Tots in the Woods sensory woodland activities, we also provide a wide range of after-school outdoor learning activities in and around Yorkshire. Visit Airmyn Park Primary School for our wonderful Off-Grid after school activities if you’re local to Yorkshire, or take a special trip to visit us for our Off-Grid Halloween, Christmas, Easter or summer holiday events deep in the woodlands around Airmyn Village Hall.
